Another fun packed weekend. Dinner on Saturday night at Mac and Suzy’s place with the gang

Sunday the gals and I piled into a water taxi and chugged our way across the waves to Balmoral Pavilion for luncheon

Today Rob and I were invited to present an author talk to a group of senior ladies at a church hall in town. They were a fantastic audience, utterly captivated by the intricacies of the writing lifestyle. None of them were fans of science fiction, primarily because they weren’t all that familiar with either what it was or where to find it. Fear not, we set them straight on that score!
At some point on the weekend I managed to put my USB backup drive through the wash. Alarmingly, the damn thing still works. I’m quite sure that’s not supposed to happen!
Off to my Egyptian folk dance and drumming class now…

One of my USB sticks has been through the wash twice and is still going strong!! (I try to bemore careful now 😉
Iain’s USB key has been throught the wash six times, and still goes. He has the cleanest data in Sydney. I’m sure the people(who I am convinced are women) who designed that USB knew that would happen and designed it accordingly.
