The anthology, to be edited by
, has no official title yet, but
,
and myself have been invited to produce novellas about the Assyrian goddess of love and war, each set in a different time period. I think its an awesome concept and am very honoured to have been selected alongside writers of the calibre of Kaaron & Deb.

I’m really looking forward too seeing three of you come up with on this one. The Ishtar legend lends so much scope for reworking that I can’t even begin to wonder which direction you’ll take it in.
And novellas!! Bring on more novellas!
Thanks! And yeah, ditto on the novellas.
That is exciting!!! And very complimentary. Great company to keep too. Yay!
yeah, I reckon!
I’m excited already.
now all i gotta come up with is an idea…
Does Kate Orman know? I think she really really should. She knows more about Ishtar than any three other people I know, and I think would be very interested to hear about this.
I’ll check with Kate. She may be able to point us in the direction of quality resource material
KAe will be able to tell you every book ever written on the topic. She’s been researching this stuff for years.
That’s sounds like a fascinating idea for an anthology. Can’t wait to read it.
yeah, it is a good challenge.
It is a bit of an impressive line up that one!
Not too sure about the editor though…
yeah, sounds extremely dodgy to me!
I think we’re just gonna have to hope the strength of those three sassy authors carry it off.
*gets promo cap on*
fingers crossed!
I believe a pic of the three authors in question would go down a treat for promo shots…
*wonders if there are any available or if one can be commissioned*
Hmmm… gonna be a bit difficult as all three of us live in different cities & one in a different country! AFAIK there is no snap of the 3 of us already done
That’s what Photoshop is for.
