While in Austin across 10 days for SXSW, I took the opportunity to bus on down to San Antonio to visit legendary Australian science fiction author Damien Broderick and his wife Barbara. We had lunch in a Riverwalk cantina and visited the Alamo, which was packed with people sporting green in celebration of St Patrick’s day.
