Old Phuket Town

I’m starting to lose track of the days and the adventures contained within, which must mean it’ll soon be time to go home. Siam elephant safari, Tower Heist in a swank multiplex cinema, Surin beach at night where we got drenched in a mini-monsoon-style downpour. Dinner at Ceramic Kitchen, well populated with drunken Russians, shopping in Old Phuket Town where, sadly, we did not purchase the statue of Ganesha riding a three-headed elephant of our dreams because it’s weight alone would exceed both our baggage allowances.

  1. Hi Cat,

Cass and I are currently in Krabi town (having just spent the last five days on Railay with friends, the last of whom we’ve just dispatched to Phuket airport by minbus). Didn’t realise you were in Thailand (I’ve been too slack with my LJ reading recently). It would have been cool to try to catch up while here. Have a good trip home!

    Best,
    JEREMY

Ha! Ali just spent a week out your way with a bunch of her school kids. Yeah, bummer, we definitely should have had dinner or something but we’re off home tomorrow. Next time, maybe.
