Norman Hetherington – 1921-2010

Norman Hetherington, the puppeteer behind Mr Squiggle, a kid’s TV show that ran for 40 years and marked the childhood of practically every Australian I’ve ever known, passed away this week. I took this photo of him, his wife Margaret and writer Terry Dowling in Galaxy bookshop around 16 years ago. More information here.
