new and shiny

Started writing a new novel this weekend after weeks of plotting and planning. I’m 3,000 words in, writing third person instead of first. It’s amazing how much of a change that is. 103,000 words from inside a character’s head has left a strange mark on me. I’m not sure I like any of the stuff I wrote today. Like being able to see in everyone’s head is somehow cheating.

Congratulations Alisa and Tansy for their WSFA small press win. I have some exciting news of my own but I’m not gonna blog it until next week when I’ve gotten my thoughts together.
