Wrote me 3,000 words of novel today. Also managed to get in a haircut and three loads of washing. I took my ibook to the hairdressers and knocked out 400 words in between all the inevitable bitching and gossiping that 21st century hairdressing entails. Now I’m grappling with my conscience — do I buy that bottle of wine or don’t I? After all, it is Friday night even if I am intending to spend it on the couch with my man, three cats and a pile of Dr Who DVDs…
