score!
Awhile back the awesome Trent Jamieson alerted me to the fact that a Greek newspaper, Eleftherotypia, was seeking reprints of English language sci fi stories of a particular length. The submission process was a tad mysterious. You had to email your story, then sit back and wait. If you didn’t hear anything, your story had not been chosen. If they wanted it, they’d drop you a line. My story Street of the Dead, originally published in Cosmos magazine, fit the bill so I sent it off and a couple of months later I recieved notification that it had been published. I followed their instructions and lo and behold, 71 euros ($115.79) appeared magically in my bank account preceeded by three copies of the magazine via snail mail.
Love the dead kangaroo artwork. And I think it’s way cool that the only words on the page I can read is my own name.

Congratulations (or the Greek equivalent!)
Just as a matter of curiosity (ok, combined with monetary self-interest), do you have the writers' guidlines? I've never had anything translated into Greek (well, not to my knowledge), and their submission process doesn't sound very different from that of some other publishers I've worked with *cough*Interzone*cough*

Cool
I’ve always been wary of the crazy “if we don’t respond it means we hate it, and possibly you” markets, but this may change my mind about them. I’m still not sure how you avoid simultaneous submissions, when the market remains silent on rejection, though.
Well done!
