Yet another person I know has passed away unexpectedly, this one many years before his time. Kris Hembury was a young writer from Brisbane. A member of the Visions writing group and active spec fic community participant. He’s pictured here at the 2005 Aurealis Awards with Marianne de Pierres, his friend and mentor.

I didn’t know him well but I liked him. May flocks of dragons sing thee to thy rest.
