Dad update

Dad’s doing really well. Eating like a horse and grumbling about wanting to go home. I’d say he’s about 80% recovered. He’s making plans for what he wants to do when he gets home. He tires very easily and can only manage short assisted walks up and down the corridor so I don’t think they’ll be cutting him loose just yet. He makes sense — mostly, but his grasp of time is all askew.

Excellent news. Is there an update on what’s happen to next door neighbour?

The neighbour is in Long Bay gaol awaiting either trial for attempted murder or a psychiatric conviction. This probably won't happen until next year.

Hey great news. Complaining and wanting to get outta there is always a sure sign that a person is well and truly over it and ready to mov on “NEXT!”. Good to hear.

And time is relative and fluid anyway. Who says he’s wrong and we’re so right? ;-)

Eating like a horse

As healthy a sign with dads as it is with cats. :D

You dont have the same time cues in hospital, so, if he has a routine that is anchored on days and times, it will come back… the daily paper, favorite tv programs..
