Dad
Dad’s not doing so well this weekend. Here’s one of his paintings from Taos, New Mexico, USA — I’m not sure when it was painted.
and a photo I took about 12 years ago in pretty much the same spot

thanks Rowena. I know it’s still too early to tell what long term outcomes Dad faces, but it’s tough going on a day to day basis. One day he’s sitting up talking, the next he’s lying there barely knowing us.

Love both the photo and the painting, but my heart’s with the paining (sorry). I wish I could paint that good (maybe doing it would help). Anyway, best wishes to your dad. It’s a long hard haul back from stuff like this, but I’m confident you’ll all make it.
