Dad update
Dad’s still sleeping but they’ve cut back on his sedation a little. Rachael sat with him today and she swears he knows she’s there. He fluttered his eyelids and twitched his feet now and then. She says the facial swelling has dropped a bit more and the gashes are healing properly. His burns range from first degree to third. Who’d have ever thought unlit petrol could be so harsh?

Petrol is vile shit that doesn’t need to be lit up to be lethal. And I’m with Rowena on this one; I didn’t know about the petrol until now, and I’m only just through the first wave of red rage.
