other people’s houses…
… drive me crazy. The one I’m currently staying in has 14 bottles of product in the shower but no soap, promite in the cupboard rather than vegemite and if there’s a stash of teabags somewhere, I’m yet to find it. Fortunately I managed to get the internet going… my hosts sleep in late on Saturdays.

when I have guests, I just prep them the night before where stuff is at, and if they have specific food things, its a trip to the 24 hour grocery store. Then I leave the computer on for them.

At least the coffee is good there, and the barbecue. Mind you, the DVD library needs a bit of work…

I always carry some teabags in my backpack for just such an emergency.

Dry skin. Your hosts have dry skin issues. Alla same here: I could give Tutankhamun a run for his money; Natalie’s afflicted with eczema, and naturally, all three kids are therefore available only in different shades of “desert”. As a result, there’s no soap in the bathroom. Shampoo, yes. Bath oil, yes. But no soap.
And if they lack tea-bags… maybe they make tea from the leaves, as Great Cthulhu always intended?
