I must admit to being rather impressed by how seriously people seem to be taking the Ditmars this year (that’s Aussie Hugos for the foreign folks). The way things are going we might actually end up with a shortlist representing the best of a years work! Here are the rules. If you’re eligible to nominate, go here. I have some eligible stuff, notably my stories ‘Sammarynda Deep’ from the Paper Cities antho, ‘Palisade’ form the Clockwork Phoenix antho, the cover art of Rob Hood’s Creeping in Reptile Flesh collection and Scary Food in the best fan production category.

Site for rules?
On my PC at least, the site with the rules – sf.org.au/ditmar – just makes the machine go ping!ping!ping! I’m sure there’s a site that works properly somewhere. But where?

yes. The more you nominate, the more cash you can wring out of Aussie spec fic writers as bribes...
