weekend

Well, my 6X novella seems to be coming together at last. I use the word seems so tentatively because you know what writing can be like — flipping over to bite you on the arse when you’re not looking… Time to pop the cork on a bottle of that discount Marlborough sav blanc that calls to me so temptingly from the fridge, sit in the bath and spin some David Sylvian. (Nope, I’m not over it yet but thanks for asking).

Our weekend so far has included a trip to Kmart to buy kiddie piddle proof plastic fitted sheeting for the spare bed in my study. Poor Smershy… that litter tray on the floor is so far away when he’s sleeping on my writing desk at night…
