Clarion South is experiencing financial problems brought on by last minute venue and tutor cancellations experienced during the last workshop. If you have any interest in the Clarion workshops — especially if you think you might like to attend this one at a future date, consider donating to their fundraising appeal here. Doesn’t have to be much, a few dollars will help.

I intend to sling them a few bucks. I loved my time at Clarion South 2004. Did it make me a better writer? I have no idea but I’m still writing five years on with two Aurealis Awards and a Ditmar under my belt, so yeah, I suspect it probably did.
