climate weirdness

I swear, five minutes ago I was on the way back from my lunch break, standing on the corner in full blazing sunlight, shielding my eyes cos it was so darn bright as I chatted to Sylvia. Now I’m back at my desk and it is pissbucketing with rain outside. The gutters are flooded, thunder rumbles overhead, yet patches of cheerful blue are visible through the squall.

Crazy weather. The BOM radar does show a squall of rain over your area just now. It’s bright and sunny in Sydney – nice after all that rain over the past week!

Weather like that is why I have bloody sinustitus again. Bah humbug.

Send the rain to Gillian. She needs it to wash the smoke out of the air so she can breath again.

Agreed. let's all get some decent rain to wash the crap out of the air, and to stop more grassfires from starting up. (I have especial sympathy for the current Australian grassfire situation, because most of Texas is just as susceptible. All of Texas is under drought conditions right now, and the combination of high wind and low humidity could set off brushfires at any moment. All we need is one idiot tossing a cigarette out the window, and the whole area between Dallas and Fort Worth could go up the way Cross Plains did four years ago.)
