general life update

We spent last weekend in Orange visiting Rob’s brother Trevor’s family and attend the opening night of his painting exhibition Dusk Marks and Memory – Imagining Landscape. Orange appears to be an attractive, civilised part of the world, although I’m buggered if I can figure out why its called Orange — the district is known for its apple orchards.

Upon discovering how close Orange is to Parkes, I am now super-keen to return in January to attend the Parkes Elvis Festival. (Wanna come too Justine?)

Not much else to report, actually. Made a spur of the moment decision and bought a plane ticket to Perth for Swancon. Oh, and Ninjaz fans… watch this space for exciting Conflux-related news…
