PJ in OZ
In the course of today’s research at work, I discovered that PJ O’Rourke, one of my favourite writers, will be visiting Sydney in April to deliver the 25th John Bonython lecture at the annual CIS dinner. At $275.00 a head, I definitely won’t be going, but I’m hoping he might do a few book signings while he’s out here.
PJ cracks me up. His travel guide Holidays in Hell remains one of my favourite books ever.

OMG. Holidays in Hell was the second last book I read!!!
I rather enjoyed it – it had a lot more substance to it than I was expecting

I was in Naples Italy when I read his commentary on why Italy was a 3rd world country. I about died laughing.
