So we’re watching the third season of The Mighty Boosh the other night — the Future Sailors episode where they keep Gary Numan in the closet. Anyhow, I realise that I own the exact same Hawaiian shirt as Howard Moon is wearing!!! OK, so yeah, I do have a different definition of ‘cool’ to most folks…

Went to Sydney last night for Shakespeare in the Park. Loved Comedy of Errors, a visually modern take on the thing performed by engaging, exuberant thespians. I’ve never before experienced theatre in such a civilised form. A bunch of strangers sitting on picnic blankets in little groups under the stars, eating and drinking, nobody being even slightly irritating. Woah.

Made up a neat slab of bullshit for my novel today — only 1400 words, but they were believable, world building words, something this project is sorely in need of.

Smersh and I are having issues. He won’t get his bony arse off my laptop. I have 2 desks and at the moment I can’t use either of them cos he keeps butting my hands with his head.
