My short story ‘Seventeen’ has been accepted for the CSFG anthology Masques. I’m pleased about this — I didn’t have many stories published in 2008 and am not likely to see many in print during 2009 on account of that I’ve spent most of this year working on two novels. Not that either of those are ready for publication, but at least they kind of exist. Kind of.
I’m not in much of a mood for writing lately, but I’m soldiering on with the 6x novella because its due real soon and if I don’t get it done, Keith will rip off my arm and beat me with the wet end. (I had a primary school teacher that used to threaten us with this all the time! – he was awesome)
What I really feel like doing at the moment is reading other people’s books. And sipping wine. Mmmmmm… wine. I think my plans for an alcohol-free weekend just flew out the window.
