nerd alert…
So, this afternoon at the office I’m working on a non-fiction book entitled Our Energy Future*. Article number 6 comes with the intro "Technology is the answer, says John Connor". And my instant response upon reading that line is nooooo John Connor… the terminators are trying to kill you!!!
I can’t make mention of why this amusing to my workmates cos they already think I’m the sort of nerd that gives nerds a bad name. So I’m telling you folks instead.

I have to think you need to upgrade your workmates. We had a Sarah Connor come to work on contract with us. Everybody knew the association or pretended they did to seem cool – nobody would hide that thought.
Poor woman – she grew to hate Terminator allusions.

Hehe. Some Keno documents came through work in a Keno folder covered with pictures of balls with numbers on them. I kept the folder and cut out the ball with “42″ and have it on my desk and no-one understands. It was the biggest picture on the cover. I hope the designer did it deliberately.
