Well, as you’ve probably read by now on other blogs, the target of $20,000 to pay for Paul’s cancer treatment has been achieved. There’s a thank you from Paul, his wife and parents posted over on his LJ paulhaines Go read it and see what a difference you’ve all made to the Haines family during this devastating time.
A big pat on the back from me too to everybody who contributed, one way or another. Of the four of us who organised the funds drive, I was the irritating devil on the shoulder. The one who honestly didn’t believe $20,000 could be raised so swiftly by online donation and an art auction. Very happy to have been so completely and utterly wrong on all counts.

I think it was really humbling what you all did for Paul there. I wish I had known about it sooner. I’m so sorry I missed out. It was’t until I read Black magazine that I woke up to the story. I tried to donate today from David, Daisy and myself. I’ll follow his Blog now if they do another collection. More than the money, the energy lift that would have given his family is tremendous. Hope all is well. Never really saw you as an angel cat but I’m beginning to think you must have some wings in there somewhere xx
