Conflux 5 Virtual Minicon

The Conflux Virtual Mini-con “Prepare to Dream” will take place this weekend at the forums at the
Conflux website. It’s free to log on and join in, the idea being that you can hammer the participating program participants with a relentless volley of awkward, embarrassing questions about themselves, their books or perhaps even their general purpose in life.

Here’s how:
Log on to http://conflux.org.au/forum- find the section devoted to the victim… er, I mean author/celeb you want at the time scheduled for them – and chat!

Each has an hour allotted. You can throw us tough questions, tell us how much our work disgusts you, etc

Here’s when:

Next Saturday and Sunday, Oz time. I am on at 4pm, Saturday. Some other versions of this program have me listed on the Sunday, but I had to swap places with Phil Berrie on account of the fact that I’m too dumb to use a diary and pen combo properly, and thus got my Sunday double booked.

The program (Australian Eastern Standard Time) is as follows:

Saturday August 2

12 noon – Glenda Larke
1pm – Chris Barnes
2pm – Gillian Polack
3pm – Bruce Gillespie
4pm – Cat Sparks
5pm – Stephen Hunt
6pm – Peter Strong
7pm – Karen Miller
8pm – Fiona McLennan
9pm – Maxine McArthur
10pm – Sharyn Lilley
11pm – Karen Herkes
12 midnight – Ellen Datlow

Sunday August 3rd

1am to 6am – break
7am – Sherwood Smith
8am – Nicole R Murphy
9am – Jonathan Strahan
10am – Kaaron Warren
11am – Sean Williams
12pm – Kevin J Anderson
1pm – Phil Berrie
2pm – Jackie French
3pm – Jack Dann
4pm – Simon Haynes
5pm – Marianne de Pierres

That is all.

ps yes, you’re right, I have only just discovered the colour palette in the LJ toolbar…
