I wrote 6,000 words of novel today. I am a complete legend. And I did an hour on the treadmill — something I achieved yesterday too only I forgot to blog it on my list. Time to hit the savvy blanc. Yay me! I rock!

I take it that you didn’t do both simultaneously. The spell-checker would have a melt down. But congrats.

You are indeed a legend!
I came close to that mark when I was writing the climax of Foreign Bodies, when I was so close to the end I just couldn’t stop – but normally, stopping after about 1200 words is all too easy.

I feel so inadequate. I gardened, read fifteen pages of a book, encouraged my friend’s dog to cuddle on the couch with me, and coloured in a fairy picture. I just know this will lead to writing success.
