what I write

So this morning I’m checking through my own publications list to see if I have anything suitable to submit to Escape Pod. The Pod is looking for ‘fun’ stories. I’ve only just noticed how dark most of the material I write is. And by most, I mean pretty much all of it. There’s not much overt horror, but almost every piece has dark undercurrents at the very least. I write, primarily, dark urban fantasy and I’ve only just noticed!
