Ooh! Here’s another good review of my The Workers Paradise story ‘Right to Work’ over at

. Tansy names it as one of her two favourites, the other favourite being Kaaron Warren’s ‘Lipstick Minx’.

“Right to Work,” Cat Sparks, The Worker’s Paradise – a heart-crumbling, beautifully crafted story which illustrates with devastating honesty how ordinary people who try their best will still be ground down by the kind of work system we have now, nevermind the near future. Sparks has put out a great body of short fiction this year, and I think this is the piece where she really finds her voice. One of the best stories I read this year.”
