Over the past 3 days I wrote my 10,000 words as planned, beginning each day with a stint on the treadmill. Rob got sick of me borrowing his ipod so he went out and got me one of my own. It’s an early birthday present (when you’re over 40 you don’t have to wait for the actual date).

Saturday was my best writing day. I banged out 4,000 words and they were GOOD words. But yesterday’s words were forced and I was unsure of what my protagonist was really doing, so I fear they may end up in the trash. But I managed to achieve a couple of other good things yesterday. I laid out a third of Daikaiju3 & critiqued three stories for a friend’s teenage daughter. And then we watched Back to the Future for the millionth time because I never, ever get sick of that film.
