We’ve had noisy possums living in our roof for ages, but this week we decided to do something about it. We rang a possum catcher who came round, set traps and managed to coax the little buggers from out of our chimney. Meanwhile, we got on Ebay and bought them some alternative housing. Today Possum Man put it up in the backyard tree they frequent. He’ll be releasing them in the yard on Monday. Now all we gotta do is convince them to live in the box. Its looks pretty cool I reckon. Hell, I’d live in it if I were a possum!

make sure you block the old condo holes for them to crawl back into your house.

Possums… yeah.

I’ve got a .22, and some truly excellent recipes for possum. Really!

Dirk, you're a shocker! Stay away from my possums with your nasty gun!

Cute house!

We had a possum with a baby last spring. Very cute. Not so cute when they live in the roof. Even less cute when they die up there. Oh dear, the pong! They’re really much, much better off in tree houses. Have you seen the possum bridges they’ve put up across some main roads?

nope, haven't seen the possum bridges. I'm hoping ours will adapt to life in their tree house. They already hang in that tree sometimes, so it shouldn't be too much of a step.

Have you not trained your cats properly? Or that just an instinctive NZ behavioural pattern I have?

Our three fluffy babies are *far* too fat and lazy to go climbing up on the roof and chasing possums.
