This week I seem to have a horrid cold. This morning I was checking my email when I sneezed so hard that my computer glasses slid off my face and went flying across the desk. I thought such moments of insane slapstickery only happened on sitcoms!

They're reading glasses but its computer screen reading I really need them for. And yes, they're excellent! I am automatically 30% smarter every time I put them on!

Best wishes, get better and tape your glasses to your nose (with elcoplast). A hand hint passed on by one of our doctors.

You’ve got my sympathy. I’ve just come down with the same lurgie. Not nice and with the muzzy head I can’t concentrate on some research I’m doing on French genre cinema. Grrr *cough*.

I’ve got a bit of a cold too, but no comical moments of slapstick to report yet. The possibilities seem endless! Perhaps I’ll cough so hard that my pants fall down.

Oh – that sounds like my cold – lots of sneezes, and nose and throat connected to hell…

What I hate is when you sneeze and blurt an enormous great booger onto the screen so the pixels all get magnified and distorted and weird looking…
